Yoa what's up yall this is ya man Cali back from a long “4 Month Hiatus” Returning to the Absolute Tier of Intellectual Futuristic Militant Real HIP-HOP Bloggery WHAT IZ REAL HIP-HOP??? Now I had to take a Break because of the Holidays & my Various Twitter Issues.Because Basically Twitter is where my major Fan base relays.So I had 2 chill until Big brother worked things out.They did so we cool now.Also in addition to all that Hip-Hop {I mean RAP}has been so WACK Lately ya man Cali just stopped listening completely!!!!I mean come on man A PRETTY BOY AUTO-TUNE SINGER??? & A BARBIE DOLL GOLD DIGGER????SMFH!!!!HAHAHAHHA!!!LMAO!!!!!COME ON MAN!!!!Man Yall really HAVE ran out of Idea's and INTELLEGENT thing's to talk about!!!YALL NOT EVEN TRYIN ANY MORE!!!!LMAO!!!And One of the most disrespectful thing's about all this is it's BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!!And I have yet 2 see a single soul really scratch the surface of REAL HIP-HOP!!!Look You " Auto-Tune Lovin... But a few month's back I left a Blog Post "Thread" Completely Un-Finished???That just so happens to FIT this Occasion PERFECTLY!!!I'm talking about PETE ROCK & CL SMOOTH,BRAND NUBIAN and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!!101:THE AFROCENTRIC SOUL MOVEMENT!!!Now Before I go any further I would like to thank my Intellectual Homie @Papawu1 from Twitter for the Dialog of the more mello side of Real Hip-Hop.O.K. Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth were an influential rap group from Mount Vernon, New York. They made their debut in the rap world with their 1991 EP, All Souled Out. It sold moderately well enough to justify Elektra Records clearing the way for 1992's Mecca and the Soul Brother LP. As a producer, DJ Pete Rock (Peter Phillips) tended to prefer obscure soul and jazz sides for sample sources, frequently making use of horn-driven hooks. Lead vocalist CL Smooth (Corey Penn) tended to be philosophical in his raps, and he mostly avoided profanity. Their signature hit was “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)”, a dirge for fallen friends--namely Troy "Trouble T-Roy" Dixon, a member of Heavy D & The Boyz, who died in 1990.

Brand Nubian is a hip hop group from New Rochelle, New York, consisting of three emcees: Grand Puba (born Maxwell Dixon), Sadat X (formerly Derek X, born Derek Murphy) and Lord Jamar (born Lorenzo Dechalus, on September 17, 1968), and two DJs: DJ Alamo and DJ Sincere. Arrested Development is a multiple Grammy Award winning American alternative hip hop group founded by Speech and Headliner as a positive, Afrocentric alternative to the gangsta rap popular in the early 1990s.

Pete Rock is said to be the Absolute Best “break beat sampler” Producer in the game.Grand Puba had a very successful solo carerre SADAT X not so much???But I enjoyed both.But my Favorite Group out of the three was Speech &Arrested Development because of there Afrocentric Messages & elaborate stage shows.Plus there “Name” is exactly what is going on for the past 400 years.So without further a do I give you 3 of the greatest Real hip hop Groups ever assembled PETE ROCK & CL SMOOTH,BRAND NUBIAN and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT why You Know I gotta Keep it CALLOUS!!!
